Meet the Author

Travis Bookert is a U.S. Air Force veteran, air traffic controller, and California-based author who writes children’s books inspired by real-life aviation. Motivated to highlight the often-overlooked role of air traffic control, Travis creates stories that introduce kids to the teamwork behind every safe flight. When he’s not working or writing, Travis enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, family, and friends. Through his stories, he hopes to spark interest and appreciation in aviation in the next generation of readers.
